Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The manuscript is prepared using the journal template (for new submission) and saved in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word file format. Note that the template for initial manuscript submission is different from the template for camera-ready manuscript.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript submissions are received through the journal's sumission platform. All submissions must follow the approved  Journal Template (for new submission). Manuscripts must be original, not yet published and not submitted to or under review by any journal or publication outlet. Every manuscript is double-blind peer-reviewed using seasoned research experts in the (related) field concerned and if found suitable, it is published in the next available issue and according to the subject matter as either a research paper, review paper or technical note. The evaluation of manuscripts will be based on:

  • significance of the research issue addressed,
  • a well detailed methodology of the work,
  • novelty and/or contribution to knowledge of the work,
  • the significance of the results, and
  • the quality of the reporting

Processing and Publication Charges
A non-refundable processing fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) should be paid when submitting the manuscript and a publication page charge of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) or Fifty US Dollars ($50) shall be charged after the review process and the manusciprt is found suitable for publication in the Journal. All payments can be made through the Journal's bank account:

Evidence of payment should be sent to the Business manager's email address: payments@iljcsit.com.ng and copy the Managing editor at meditor@iljcsit.com.ng. To encourage foreign authors, the processing fee is waived for any submission which does not have any Nigerian author.

After acceptance for publication, author(s) are required to fill and submit the Copyright Form along side the camera-ready manuscript which should be prepared using the journal's camera-ready template for publication.

Articles

All articles in this section will be subject to double-blind peer-reviewed. They must be original and not published in or submitted to another journal or publication outlet.

Review Articles

This section consist of articles that are review papers. They must be comprehensive and up-to-date in the literature review and identify progresses and issues in the state of the art of the area or domain under review.
