Abstract

Context: This study examined Influence of Information and Communication Technology on Library Use by Undergraduates at The University of Ilorin. Objective: The study aimed to achieve five objectives; to examine the level of ICT skills among undergraduate students; the ICT gadgets used by students and how often the students make use of them; the level of accessibility provided to students in need of e-resources; the benefits/ importance of ICT in library operations; the problems faced in the use of ICT. Method: The study adopted a descriptive survey design with a study population of the undergraduate students in four (4) selected faculties in university of Ilorin, Kwara state, Simple random sampling technique was used to select 100 respondents, which represent the sample for the study. Result: The study revealed that the students perceive electronic sources to be insufficient in Kwara State University library.
